Essential Information For Visitors To Lord’s
To ensure that your day at Lord’s is as enjoyable as possible, please read the following information. If you have any questions that you would like to ask before the 19th, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
10.00am-4.00pm. The first tour of Lord’s departs from outside the MCC Cricket Academy at 9.30am. If you are on this tour, you will not be able to gain access to the Nursery Pavilion prior to 10.00am.
How to get to Lord’s
Lord’s is very close to the centre of London – just 1.5 miles from Marble Arch – and easy to reach by road, tube and bus. St John’s Wood is the closest tube station (approximately 5 minutes’ walk), and Baker Street, Warwick Avenue, Marylebone and Edgware Road are all within 15 minutes’ walk. You are advised to travel to Lord’s by public transport, but if you intend to drive please be aware that there is no parking inside the ground. There is, however, parking nearby at Kingsmill Terrace and various parking restrictions in the local area are relaxed on Sundays. For more information on travelling by road and parking click here
Please enter the ground via the North Gate (nearest entrance to St John’s Wood underground station). The event is being staged in the Nursery Pavilion and the MCC Cricket Academy.
Upon arrival at the registration desk in the Nursery Pavilion you must produce a valid ticket. If you have not yet registered click here. Your ticket is valid for 1 adult and 2 under 16s only. If you intend to bring further children to the event they should register independently prior to the event. These stipulations do not apply to babes in arms. Please note that ticket numbers are unique and will be checked off against our records. Please note that it may take several minutes to get into the event, so please allow plenty of time if you are arriving for a specific session in the Academy, Q&A or tour.
Clothing and footwear in the MCC Cricket Academy
The MCC have kindly relaxed their clothing policy for All Out Cricket LIVE. If your child is taking part in a coaching or session or you are intending to test kit, please wear comfortable clothing and trainers. No spiked shoes are allowed in the Academy.

Photo opportunities with trophies
- If you would like to get a photo with any of the trophies appearing at Lord’s please note the following timings:
- ICC Champions Trophy 10am-2pm
- ICC Women’s World Cup 10am-2pm
- County Championship 12pm-1pm
Discounted tours of Lord’s are still available. For more information and to book click here. If you have booked on to a tour, you are required to meet your tour guide at the entrance to the MCC Cricket Academy. Please arrive at least five minutes before your tour is due to commence.

Food and drink
Snacks and drinks will be available from cafes in the Nursery Pavilion and the MCC Cricket Academy throughout the day. Main meals and drinks are available at the Lord’s Tavern, but space will be limited so please check availability prior to arrival.
